The Holidays are upon us once again. Whether it is the Holidays that take you away from home or the cold weather we experience, be assured that your pet(s) will be in knowledgeable, caring hands this season!
Pet sitting is a service in which a professional comes into your home to care for your pet(s) on an as-needed basis. This means that you determine how often and when services are needed. Your pet sitter will carry out the routine that your pet is comfortable with. Services always include daily exercise and tender loving care, food and water replenishment, and observation and detection of abnormal behavior or appearance. Additional services included for little or no extra cost are medication administration, mail retrieval, light/music adjustment, and plant care. Nail trims can also be performed for an additional fee.
Questions to ask a potential pet sitter:
-Have you been formally educated in veterinary medicine?
-Do you have liability or bonding insurance?
-Who will be carrying out the services at my home?
-How long have you been in business?
-Do you have local references?
-What is your payment policy?
-Do you meet with my pet(s) and I prior to starting services?
